Another shoot with dance instructor Nadine! Downtown Penticton has some awesome graffiti that fit with the break dance/Hip Hop look she was going for. Flash died a couple shots in (Stupid batteries last charge I think… 
) Luckily Nadine’s Boyfriend Neil came along and offered assistance with the reflector. Thanks Nadine and Neil!

Been going to the beach a lot lately and last night I thought I would bring my Camera gear. I am a big fan of the strobist movement as some people are calling it. Very cool looks with just the sun and a strobe.

Quick one today was out with the kids so photography wasn’t exactly easy to accomplished some how managed to get one shot I like out of the day.
Nadine
Nadine came to me after a friend told her about me. She is a dance instructor that teaches Nuvo Burlesque and wanted some photo’s done for promotional use. She knew I have very little experience with people and my gear was lacking but she gave me a chance and I am very grateful for that because I think we made some great shots. Here are some results.

A friend suggested going back to this old steam wheeler (which is actually the boat I got married on) I took a night photo from a totally different angle Canada Day of last year. I think this one turned out quite nice, the colors and easy on the eyes.

This is actually my first attempt at anything video related since college so don’t mind the crappy size and gross pixels I am learning compression and encoding stuff all over again.
Penticton At Night March 12, 2011
A friend suggested I try taking some picture of a decent look out in my town though probably not what she thought I think these turned out well. I then when down town to take a shot at street photography but I lack the confidence to take pictures of random people so I just got a couple random shots of some shops.

This beach always has killer waves, that nice pier, this old rusty buoy and it’s sign. I always drive past it and never take pictures! This summer I shall stop here more I swear it.
